Mycamerainsurance.com was created out of the need for credible information for those looking to insure their cameras and equipment. The thing is, most people don’t know how to find camera insurance, and even more don’t know that they might already be covered. Out of this need for information, I created this website as a resource for those people in need of camera insurance.
As an avid photographer myself, as well as an insurance professional, I knew my options for covering my cameras. Unfortunately many of friends were less informed and in the event of a loss, were unsure as to whether their camera was insured. As you may have guessed, I was asked many questions relating to insuring a camera, to which I sometimes did not have answers. So I decided to do some research myself, and was unable to find many valuable resources online which gave straightforward answers as to coverage. After delving further into the subject, I learned a few things myself, and was able to answer many of my friends questions. Rather answering tons of questions everyday as to where someone can pursue coverage for their cameras, I decided to put together this online resource that can point you in the right direction.
